Sound familiar? Is your dog very good at recall…but only when it suits him?
You might not have any of the above recall situations but feel you would like to “tweak” or refresh your dogs’ recall.
This is a fast-track clinic on recall which means that we will start by going through all the basics of recall and then fast track to the different issues or “tweaks” that you and your dog want help with.
The clinic is designed for both the beginner (as mentioned above) to the more experienced to help identify where our recall isn’t working, and what can be done / adjusted to make it a success every time we need the recall to work!
It’s all about understanding, communication & fun with our dog!
Course content
- Understanding recall & when to use it.
- Communication and hand signalling
- Understanding the environment from the dogs’ view
- The power of having the right reward in recall
- Fun games to enrich the recall
- Time for Q & A after each session.
Here is what you need to bring
- Treats, both hard and soft.
- Toy
- Harness or collar (No choke)
- Leash that is not flexible.
- Long leash approx. 10m
